Visokio is the developer of Omniscope and DataPlayers, innovative data integration, visualisation, analysis and publishing tools that break new ground in power and accessibility. Visokio are pioneers in the development of rich internet applications like Flash DataPlayers, and general-purpose, scalable hybrid desktop/web clients like Omniscope.

Visokio was founded in 2002 as "Iokio" to develop stand-alone data visualisation software for use by non-programmers. Iokio was privately-funded and supported by a core group of early clients in its initial years. In June 2006, the name "Visokio" was adopted, coinciding with the general release of Omniscope 2.0 and FeatureFinder 1.2 to the corporate world.
